Linda Di Franco's ''TV Scene'' is standing years now next to Hong Kong Syndicate's ''Too Much'', Blue Camera's ''Golden War'' and more similar blue eyed soul and jazz European 'pop' releases in my record collection. I was too young and discover the next decade that was a Balearic classic after read it on UK press. But even I didn't I know this I included next to other Mediterranean, a kind of jazz in my ears Italo Disco releases as were far from the synth sound of others. First discover it unexpectelly in pop and rock compilations which released in Greece in the year 1986. Then arrived arrived in 7'' and 12''. To the point Linda Di Franco's ''TV Scene'' was the highlight of them. Its percussive deep funky rhythm, piano, sax and tropical keys over Linda's snazzy vocals are offering you one of the most sun-kissed Balearic tunes. On the same dimension ''My Boss'' slow moving bass tones committed to offer a range of leftfield pop where jazz attitude meets folk exponent.
