ZENDNL 218 Romare - Prison Blues (Ninja Tune/UK)

This already loved by many but I don’t think that is offering something so new and fresh. Ι was expecting something more different, something more outstanding... Yes… It’s a complex of downtempo and eclectic dance vibes (inspired by jazz, funk, hip hop and jazz definitely) selected already in the mind of Alif Tree, Mo Kolours, Al Dobson Jr. and others… Except the (MORE) expectations the album is solid, stands alone in the desert as one the best albums of the early 2015. Favourite tracks, the world ‘’Motherless Child’’, the awesome alternative and jazzy club sound of ‘’Roots’’ and the jazzy jam on ''Prison Blues'' which is fantastic and sound like Mo Kolours. i like it a lot... ‘’Work Song’’, ‘’Jimmy's Lament’’ and ‘’Lover Man’’ follows… Maybe after a lot of spin I will love it more, we will see. - Dj Nova, Nova Planet Radio Show
