CTV36525 A Bossa Eletrica - Do Norte (Connective Records/SE)

A Bossa Eletrica project that was lost into time and space… And suddenly a promo campain with their new album appears… Seven years later !!! The album got pure brazillian sound and laying on a samba carpet. Reminds the Far Out original brazillian releases, electronic elements are few and gentle like the one that excist on the title track ‘’A Bossa Eletrica do Norte’’. Samba dancefloor magic of cinematic ‘’Degalo’’ with the seventies analogue synths sounds great and so familiar to my ears. I like also the samba dub of ‘’Rio De Oxum’’. ‘’Praia Do Futuro’’ and ‘’Núcleo Urbano’’ from the earlier teaser EP of the album included here too. My highlight of the album is the brazillian electro cover of ‘’Everybody Loves The Sunshine’’ of my fave musician Roy Ayers. - DJ Nova, Nova Planet Radio Show
