Absolute deep house EP. So deep cuts from the label who release the thrilled Detroit Beatdown series. Mike Huckaby selects and remix four tracks that can re:shape the sound of house music. Percusions and heavy soul doing an party on ‘’Playsiscm’’. Norm Talley’s Detroit Beatown ‘’Change’’ appears with a new 2010 treatment by Mike Huckaby, more deep and less heavy. ‘’The Deep House World’’ original by Mike himself is an example of Detroit’s soul and deep house moment and at last Rick Wade’s ‘’Bleach’’ is the night stormer of the EP, the most uplifting of the release. - DJ Nova, Nova Planet Radio Show
Mike Huckaby approached Third Ear to release an ep of tracks selected by himself; a combination of original tracks and remixes. The result is The Defenders Of The Deep House World ep. Mike Huckaby and Rick Wade provide a new original track for the A side. On the flip, Mike Huckaby takes an unreleased Rick Wilhite track and reconstructs it. He then remixes again Norm Talley’s Change from the first Detroit Beatdown compilation (3ELP/CD-001), which he first remixed in 2004 for release on the first Detroit Beatdown Remixes 1:1 ep (3EEP-017). - AheadPR
