Η amplify είναι ενα νεοσύστατο label. Ξεφεύγοντας απο τα mainstream κλισέ αλλά
και την “κουλτούρα” των underground δισκογραφικών, προσπαθεί να βρει την τομή
ανάμεσα τους. Ο ήχος της είναι ηλεκτρονικός και ο προσανατολισμός της η χορευτική μουσική. Στόχος της είναι η προώθησή της με τη χρήση όλων των νέων δυνατοτήτων που προσφέρει σήμερα το internet.
Και αυτό χωρίς να θυσιάζεται ποτέ η ιδιαίτερη αισθητική που φέρουν τόσο η μουσική, όσο και το οπτικό κομμάτι των κυκλοφοριών του label.

Kαταγόμενος από μουσική οικογένεια, έχει διασχίσει τα 90's πειραματιζόμενος με διάφορες φόρμες της electronica. Οι σπουδές του στο εξωτερικό (Ba in Music & Μa in Contemporary Arts and Music) αποδείχτηκαν καρποφόρες για τη διεύρυνση συνεργασιών με καλλιτέχνες και συμμετοχές σε φεστιβάλ, club nights ακόμη και επιδείξεις μόδας.

Not only full of flavour but of energy too EP the ‘’Tender Melodies’’ one. Pho’s, Matthew Bandy’s and Adam Pickrell collaboration debut "Border Foo’’ is my highlight, my sound, what I want to hear from this side of undeground house sound of America. Pumpin’ tempo and sweet keys and growing rhythm are its general characteristics. Matthew Johnson’s ‘’Rumpshake’’ on the other side follows the tech-house airline to Detroit, imagine something like Inner City’s ‘’Big Fun’’ made in 2010. Third EP track, Dj Skunk’s ‘’In The light’’ can be adored after midnight in any dancefloor, love the percussions and the jazz attitude of it. Last one appearance is coming from well known from Full Flavour before, Mike Disco. ‘’Morehouse Jam’’ is the strongest one track of the EP and sounds to me like an italo dance classics from the early 90’s. Sofa Attitude’s ‘’My Love Is Outside’’ in the beginning is creating a beautiful lay back atmosfear as Jazzanova few minutes later re:exporing the 70’s sensual part of soul music. Sofa Surfers dub lightness offers the title to the compilation while jazzy chill out ‘’Borderland’’ continue the sedactive sound journey by Deep Dive Corp. One of my fave project the latest year, Metropolitan Jazz Affair, selected here with their soul jazz adventure ‘’Roaming’’ from their last album on Frankfurt’s Infracom label. Deep house exciting voice of Lisa Shaw is appearing here with heR original version of ‘’Inside My Love’’ an hypno dub track that i love too much. German master of exotic beats Mo’ Horizons are included twice in the compilation and one of their tracks is one of the biggest modern latin hits of modern jazz fields of music the last decade, ‘’Ai Mi Morena’’. Another personal highlight and already classic ‘’Budapest Cha Cha’’ by jazz legendendary Dj Paul Murphy wisely included. Emee Grant is running his own label, my fave project from this is the guy called Rought and in the compilation we meet his sweet track ''Fade’’ love, chart and airplay a lot in the past. Mario Biondi and ‘’This Is What You Are’’ is/was the biggest nu jazz hit ever and whenever met it in a radio, TV, club, resturant, radio show or a compilation I can’t stop sing it or enjoy it, so I love to hear it here too, you ? Don’t You ? The compilation closes with two elegant deep house moments, one from the king of German producer and owner of one of the best selling labels of the scene, Ralf Gum of GOGO Records. Οι Night On Earth προέκυψαν μέσα από έναν αυτοσχεδιασμό της μετα-μουσικής ηχο-τρομοκρατικής κολλεκτίβας των Paracroussis, τον Απρίλιο του 2004. Το μουσικό ύφος μας μπορεί να περιγραφεί ως ένα παζλ από trip hop και blues noir, κουρδισμένο σε μια jazz ατμόσφαιρα, κάτω από ένα αυτοσχεδιαστικό πνεύμα –που εισχωρεί σε ταξιδιάρικα και μελαγχολικά ηχοτόπια και αντανακλά κινηματογραφικές αναφορές. Ναι, όλο αυτό. Ο ήχος μας είναι περισσότερο διαμορφωμένος από τις εικόνες του Jim Jarmusch και του Wong Kar-Wai, παρά από ένα συγκεκριμένο μουσικό ιδίωμα. Παρ’όλα αυτά, στο παίξιμό μας συναντιούνται ετερόκλητα ακούσματα: από τη μελαγχολία των βινυλίων του Bristol και των progressive κιθαριστικών ταξιδιών των 70’s μέχρι το πνεύμα των avant-garde συνθετών του 20ου αιώνα και τους πιανιστικούς αυτοσχεδιασμούς του Keith Jarrett.

BOOMSTATE

Οι Boomstate υπάρχουν από το 1996 περίπου και κατά τη διάρκεια όλων αυτών των ετών έχουν συνθέσει και ηχογραφήσει αμέτρητα κομμάτια. Υπάρχει μόνο μία επίσημη κυκλοφορία τους μέχρι τώρα, το album ‘Waiting Out There’ το οποίο κυκλοφόρησε το 2007 από την RunDevilRun Records. Οι Boomstate αυτό το διάστημα σχεδιάζουν μερικές ζωντανές εμφανίσεις στην Ελλάδα και δουλεύουν επάνω σε νέο υλικό, καθώς επίσης ξαναφτιάχνουν κάποιους παλιούς αγαπημένους ήχους για το δεύτερο album τους. Και…που ξέρετε… μπορεί να υπάρξει και ένα τρίτο album πολύ πιο σύντομα απ’ το αναμενόμενο!

KAPPA

Ο Kappa γεννήθηκε στη Θεσσαλονίκη και δρα ως μουσικός από τις αρχές της δεκαετίας του '90. Έπειτα από αρκετά χρόνια με καθαρά alternative rock projects και μαζεύοντας υλικό που ηχογραφούσε σπιτικά και μη σε τετρακάναλο, αποφάσισε να μοιραστεί και με τον υπόλοιπο κόσμο κάποιες από τις πσυχεδελο-ποπ-φολκ και ροκ ανυσηχίες του μέσα απ' τον πρώτο του δίσκο ‘Sack of Dreams’. Με την πολύτιμη βοήθεια του Νικόδημου Τριαρίδη στην κονσόλα ήχου αλλά και με μια πληθώρα μουσικών από τον χώρο της πόλης, το Sack of Dreams έχει αποσπάσει εξαιρετικές κριτικές από τον εγχώριο τύπο.

FILM

Ένα από τα δημοφιλέστερα εναλλακτικά pop-rock συγκροτήματα στην Ελλάδα, με γυναικεία φωνητικά και πειραματικό ήχο, που συνδυάζει τις επιρροές, τους πειραματισμούς και τις ιδέες που συνθέτουν ένα δυνατό ρυθμικό και ένα συναισθηματικό-μελωδικό χαρακτήρα, συγχρόνως με μια κινηματογραφική άποψη και μια θεατρική εκφραστικότητα.

INFIDELITY


In-fi-del-i-ty / infədeləti / ουσ πληθ.–ties [C;U] 1 ( το παράδειγμα ή πράξη της) απιστίας ή το να είναι κανείς άπιστος, π.χ. στον/στην στην σύντροφό του/της. 2 (για κάτι που αντιγράφεται ή εξιστορείται ) μη αληθοφανές˙ μη πιστό (σε ήχο, εικόνα, γεγονότα, χρώμα, κ.τ.λ.) στο πρωτότυπο. 3 Ελληνικό συγκρότημα που εδρεύει στη Βόρεια Ελλάδα (Κιλκίς).
Στην πραγματικότητα, ένα πενταμελές post-new wave συγκρότημα το οποίο ήδη από την κυκλοφορία του demo ‘Miles Behind’ (2003) κατόρθωσε να διαμορφώσει τον προσωπικό του ήχο. Μελωδικές φωνητικές και κιθαριστικές φόρμες, εμπλουτισμένες με μικρές δόσεις πειραματισμού, συνθέτουν την μουσική ταυτότητα του group. Δύο χρόνια αργότερα, κυκλοφορεί το πρώτο τους άλμπουμ ‘Viewer From A Black Star’ (Run Devil Run, 2005), το οποίο έλαβε εξαιρετικές κριτικές από τον ελληνικό και ξένο τύπο και ανέβηκε στα charts αρκετών ραδιοφωνικών σταθμών.
Οι ζωντανές εμφανίσεις αποτελούν ένα από τα πιο δυνατά τους σημεία. Από τις αρχές του 2006 μέχρι σήμερα οι Infidelity πραγματοποίησαν δεκάδες συναυλίες σε διάφορες πόλεις για την προώθηση του ‘Viewer From A Black Star’.
Το 2009, οι Infidelity επέστρεψαν στην δισκογραφία με το album ‘In The City’. Με ένα μοναδικά φιλτραρισμένο μουσικό χαρμάνι από indie, alternative, post new wave και art rock, μας προσέφεραν ένα συναισθηματικά φορτισμένο album από το πρώτο έως το τελευταίο κομμάτι! Το album ηχογραφήθηκε ζωντανά σε διάστημα τριών ημερών στα RunDevilRun Studios με παραγωγό τον Νικόδημο Τ., θέλοντας έτσι να αποτυπωθεί η δυναμική live πλευρά των συνθέσεων και των ζωντανών εμφανίσεων των Infidelity, χωρίς overdubs ή άλλες ηχοληπτικές παρεμβάσεις!

Συνθετικοί @ Guest Mixes

Την Τετάρτη 23 Ιουνίου στις 19:00 στην εκπομπή Guest Mixes καλεσμένοι οι Συνθετικοί.
Για δύο περιπου ώρες το συγκρότημα παρουσιάζει την μουσική τους , διαλέγει τραγούδια άλλων αγαπημένων groups ενώ ταυτοχρονα μιλάνε στο μικρόφωνο για την ιστορια των Συνθετικών,τις απόψεις τους για την μουσική και αλλα ενδιαφέροντα.

Οι Συνθετικοί δημιουργήθηκαν το 1985 από τους Αποστόλη "Λοβέρδο" Αυγερινό
(στίχοι, σύνθεση, φωνή, κιθάρα), τον Διονύση Αυγερινό (σύνθεση, φωνή, πλήκτρα)
κ'τον Δημοσθένη Τσανέτογλου (computers).
Το 1990 κυκλοφόρησαν το πρώτο ομώνυμο LP "ΣΥΝΘΕΤΙΚΟΙ". Περιείχε 9 τραγούδια.
Το 1993 διαλύθηκαν. Ωστόσο είχαν δημιουργήσει κ'ένα νέο κύκλο τραγουδιών που
δεν ηχογραφήθηκε λόγω της διάλυσης. Κατόπιν οι Αποστόλης κ' Διονύσης ηχογράφησαν
κ' κυκλοφόρησαν με το όνομα "Αποστόλης κ' Διονύσης Αυγερινός" δύο CD με τίτλους
"ΦΩΤΑ ΜΟΥ, ΗΛΙΕ ΜΟΥ" κ'"ΗΛΕΚΤΡΟΝ".
Το 2010 αποφάσισαν να επανασυνδεθούν σαν ΣΥΝΘΕΤΙΚΟΙ να ηχογραφήσουν κ' να
κυκλοφορήσουν το παγωμένο άλμπουμ της περιόδου 90-93 σε CD. O τίτλος του
"ΠΡΟΣΩΠΕΙΑ-ΕΦΙΑΛΤΕΣ".
Ο λόγος της επανασύνδεσης είναι το ενδιαφέρον μιας μερίδας κοινού για το πρώτο
LP που διαδόθηκε κυρίως μέσω του Internet. Έτσι τους δίνεται η ευκαιρία (κ'αυτο
θέλει κάθε μουσικός) να έρθουν σε επαφή με το κοινό τους με την νέα κυκλοφορία
τους και με τις συναυλίες που θα αρχίσουν από το Σεπτέμβρη του 2010.
