Την Τετάρτη 2 Ιουνίου στις 19:00 και για δύο ώρες στην εκπομπή Guest Mixes την μουσική και τα τραγούδια διαλέγει και παρουσιάζει το συγκρότημα των Frantic Five.

Οι Frantic Five δημιουργήθηκαν τον Ιούνιο του 1994 στη Θεσσαλονίκη και δεν έχουν κρύψει ποτέ ότι είναι κολλημένοι στον ήχο της δεκαετίας του 60 με έμφαση στο αμερικάνικο garage punk, το ευρωπαικό beat και το rnb.Στο ενεργητικό τους έχουν μια πλούσια δισκογραφία που περιλαμβάνει 13 κυκλοφορίες σε εταιρίες της Ελλάδας και του εξωτερικού (Αυστραλία, UK, Γερμανία, Ιταλία) καθώς και συμμετοχές σε πολλές συλλογές τόσο της Ελλάδας όσο και του εξωτερικού.

Η μπάντα έχει κάνει αμέτρητες εμφανίσεις στην Ελλάδα και έχει βγει και εκτός συνόρων αρκετές φορές με περιοδίες στη Γερμανία και Ιταλία καθώς και εμφανίσεις σε Λονδίνο και Κωνσταντινούπολη.

Οι Frantic Five έχουν εμφανιστεί μαζί με ονόματα θρύλους του είδους όπως με τους Sonics το Νοέμβριο του 2009, Fuzztones, ? and The Mysterians, Seeds, Fleshtones, Sick Rose κα καθώς έχουν παίξει μαζί και με όλες τις ελληνικές garage/rock n roll μπαντες.

Μέσα στο 2010 κυκλοφόρησε από την Fuzz Overdose το 7’’ EP “Can’t Get Away” αποκλειστικά σε βινύλιο.

Την Τετάρτη 26 Μαΐου λίγο μετά τις 19:00 στην εκπομπή Guest Mixes καλεσμένο το συγκρότημα των No Balance.

Οι No Balance είναι ένα indie/emo/punk group που εδρεύει στην Αθήνα. Σχηματίστηκαν το 1997 από μέλη άλλων γνωστών Ελληνικών punk rock group. Έχοντας πειραματιστεί αρκετά με τον ηχο τους, από straight forward punk μέχρι και ambient instrumental, αλλά πάντα με βάση τον αρχικό τους ήχο, έχουν δείξει ότι έχουν την δυνατότητα να αποδώσουν αρκετά καλά. Μέχρι σήμερα, οι No Balance, κατέχοντας τον τίτλο του πρώτου emo group στη χώρα, έχουν παίξει σε όλα σχεδόν τα μέρη στην Αθήνα αρκετές φορές, όπως επίσης και σε αρκετά μέρη στην υπόλοιπη Ελλάδα, με όλα σχεδόν τα punk/indie/emo/rock group της χώρας. Επίσης έχουν εμφανιστεί μαζί με γνωστά groups της σκηνής στο Brighton (U.K.), καθώς και support σε groups όπως οι MUDHONEY, SIX BY SEVEN, CHUMBAWAMBA, THE INTERNATIONAL NOISE CONSPIRACY, IGNITE, LAST DAYS OF APRIL και STARMARKET.

Μέσα σε όλο αυτό τον καιρό, έχουν κυκλοφορήσει ένα demo c.d. με 4 κομμάτια “Wait for Summer” το 1998, και ένα 7’ “Between Us” το 2000, στην Ελληνική ανεξάρτητη εταιρεία ‘Cannonball Records’. Το Μάιο του 2003 κυκλοφόρησε το πρώτο full length album "Lights On" στην Librarian Records, θυγατρική της Olon music. Έπειτα από αρκετές αλλαγές στο lineup του group, οι No Balance κατάφεραν να κυκλοφορήσουν ένα από τα πιο ελπιδοφόρα album της Ελληνικής σκηνής. Το “ When Everybody’s Gone” το 2008. Στο μεταξύ, έχουν λάβει μέρος σε αρκετές συλλογές, τόσο με παλιά όσο και με νέα ακυκλοφόρητα κομμάτια, έχοντας λάβει πάρα πολύ καλές κριτικές.

Αυτή τη στιγμή, το group ετοιμάζει νέο υλικό που θα ηχογραφηθεί το καλοκαίρι το οποίο και παρουσιάζει σε διάφορα shows στα οποία εμφανίζεται.Μέσα από τις άφθονες επιρροές τους όπως Dinosaur Jr., Samiam, The Afghan Whigs, The Applessed Cast, The Descendents και αρκετές ακόμα, οι No Balance έχουν καταφέρει να δημιουργήσουν έναν δικό τους ήχο που δεν αφήνει κανέναν αδιάφορο!
