EF 021 Vincent Kwok & Random Soul - San Francisco To Sydney (Eight Fiftteen/US)

Another collaboration between San Fransciso’s and Syndey finest and my fave producer the duet of Random Soul and Vincent Kwok. After their ‘’From Syndey To San Franscisco EP’’ again on Eight Fifteen are back with another bridge between the two cities. ‘’Don’t Tell Me It’s Over’’ and ‘’Tomorrow Is All We Have’’ are the included tracks in this EP. First one remixed by Random Soul on their usual Deep Wash and Vocal Bump Mix treatments, both are touching the perfect and what i’m expecting to hear from them and from house music lately, their sounds are a 2010 must and more soulful and sweet smooth keys. Vincent Kwok remix on the other side offers my fave track on the EP, an amazing summer brazillian version with nice percusions, acoustic and electric guitars his Brazileiro remix. ‘’Tomorrow Is All We Have’’ is one more funky house work and even by an Australian or by an American hand on it can work on both dancefloor too. The two different house remixes of ‘’Pheeva!’’ are completing perfectly the EP. Έτσι, παράλληλα με τα 3 συγκροτήματα που θα περιοδεύσουν σε όλη την Ελλάδα, μαζί τους φέτος θα ταξιδέψει μια εικαστική έκθεση, μια παράσταση χορού και κινηματογραφικές προβολές. Με αυτό τον τρόπο θα αναδειχτούν σε όλη την Ελλάδα τα πιο φρέσκα, ενδιαφέροντα και πρωτότυπα projects από όλους σχεδόν τους χώρους της τέχνης.

Το VELVET bus είναι μια πρωτοβουλία του VELVET magazine, το οποίο στα 5 χρόνια παρουσίας του, έχει βασικό μέλημά του την υποστήριξη των νέων Ελλήνων καλλιτεχνών και του έργου τους, παρέχοντάς τους πλατφόρμες έκφρασης, παρουσίασης και επικοινωνίας. Υπεύθυνοι του VELVET bus είναι ο δημοσιογράφος και μουσικός παραγωγός Μάκης Μηλάτος και οι εκδότες του περιοδικού VELVET Λάκης και Άρης Ιωνάς. Την ηχητική επιμέλεια των συναυλιών θα έχουν τα Fab Liquid Studios και Sonic Playground.

Φέτος, μαζί με το VELVET BUS, ταξιδεύει και η NELLE, ένα νεανικό cartoon που συνοδεύει την ενημερωτική καμπάνια του Κέντρου Οικογενειακού Προγραμματισμού του Νοσοκομείου Αλεξάνδρα για την αντισύλληψη και την ασφάλεια στο sex. Η καμπάνια έχει δημιουργηθεί με την αιγίδα της Α’ Μαιευτικής και Γυναικολογικής Κλινικής της Ιατρικής σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και συμπεριλαμβάνει ενημερωτικό site (www.antisyllipsi.org.gr), 24ωρη δωρεάν τηλεφωνική γραμμή (800 11 21 400), συμμετοχή με ενημερωτικά φυλλάδια σε διάφορα νεανικά events.
