One of my TOP deep house labels. Every release a super deep sound exploration, TOP Zurich producer, TOP Europe producers are choosed and releasing stuff here. Munich’s Compost partner label that since 2006 is in full action and supported by the most appreciated djs and producers in this field of dance music and not only. After their first compilation ‘’Verse 1’’ last year is back with the second one, ‘’Verse 2’’ is already out in the digital or physical world. The teaser EP offers a nice taste to my ears. Johannes Lehner appear with a more funky and discoteque - me now - track, Chicago is getting dirty and meeting african savannah’s wild animals in my brain. R U Feeling Afraid ??? Το Μagnitophono είναι ένα μουσικό project βασισμένο σε ιστορίες και σ’ εικόνες που έχουν τραβηχτεί μέσω κάμερας, απ’ όπου και προέρχεται ο ήχος. Τι ήχο μπορεί να έχει μια εικόνα; Άκουσε... Ένα ρομπότ κοιτάζει τη θάλασσα και θέλει να κολυμπήσει. Ένα πλαστικό παιχνίδι ονειρεύεται μικροσκοπικά σύννεφα και ένα μαγνητόφωνο στέλνει ένα ερωτικό γράμμα, λίγο πριν αποχωρήσει για Τόκιο.
Στο μουσικό project “ Magnitophono” καταγράφονται ιστορίες με ηλεκτρονικούς ήχους και samples από βιντεοσκοπημένες στιγμές. Ξεκίνησε την διαδρομή του τον Μάιο του 2007, από την Ελένη Αδαμοπούλου. To ep “Playtime” έχει κυκλοφορήσει από την «Μinuta Records” ( Switzerland).
Σε πιο μινιμαλιστικούς ήχους και περισσότερους πειραματισμούς δημιουργήθηκε άλλο ένα μουσικό project από την Ελένη Αδαμοπούλου, το «Manekinekod» τον Ιούλιο του 2007. Έχει συμετάσχει στην κυκλοφορία “4 women no cry, vol.3” από την Monika Enterprise (Berlin). Μερικές απο τις πόλεις όπου έχει εμφανιστεί: Γερμανία (Berlin, Leipzig), Πολωνία (Warsaw, Posnan) και στο Alpha ville audiovisual festival (London) μαζί με τον Graphset στα visuals (France).

Another one cafefully selected EP by Statra’s back catalogue is about to release soon and celebrate the 10 years in theundeground business in house music. Alexu Delano’s ‘’Round & Round’’ appears with an excelent remix by house music deep:shaper Charles Webster, simply beautiful mix with a deep in the nite hypnotic rhythm and unheavy percussion melted with come and go beats. Eight Dimension says doesn’t get more sexy than this, and this is truth. Brozza Frag’s covers the gold era of french disco, i’m sure that was a highlight and nights & nights in the bag of Monsier Etienne DeCrecy. Next is coming a big suprice for me, Scotish EX Fcom:er Aqua Bassino remix on Jeff Sharel’s ‘’Time Condition’’ - 2009 stands like the year of deep afro house -. This remastered (as every track on these digitally back catalogue releases) deep xylophone tune, that didn’t heard before, makes me feel so nice, so good, simply a love it, my highlight of the EP. The EP closes with Jussi Pekka, first time got something from him, even as a promo… didn’t knew his works, but I remember his name by Dimosthenis Elenis, a vry good friend from Athens and an eclecticradio ex-producer at Rodon FM 95 back in time. His ‘’Subway’’ can show us the direction and the point of these EP digitally re:releases. These are not music strictly for dj’s, or the dancefloors, for sure is not for big rooms, but for sure is music to have anyone, to enjoy it firstly in his home, car hi-fi and music to be licenced from compilers for future compilations, old releases with everlasting value.
