Compost Black Label #25 - Wagon Cookin Christian Prommer Remixes | CPT 270-1 | 12"Side A:
1. Start To Play - Christian Prommer Main Mix
Side B:
1. Start To Play - Christian Prommer Piano Mix
2. Start To Play - Christian Prommer Jam Mix
Compost Black Label #25 is some kind of premiere, because this is the first remix EP in the whole Black Label series. The protagonist in this one man play is the Bavarian jack-of-all-trades CHRISTIAN PROMMER in a new staging of WAGON COOKIN’s “START TO PLAY”. In the past Prommer has been co-staring in classic performances like TRÜBY TRIO, FAUNA FLASH and VOOM:VOOM. Right now he is stirring up waves of enthusiasm with his own DRUMLESSON project on SONAR COLLECTIVE and his floorshaking tech-jazz-meets-classic-house-reinterpretation of KOOP’s “DRUM RHYTHM A”.
But now draw the curtain and experience Prommer’s play going through a real strong development giving each of the three acts a significant and distinctive character. From the slowly building ecstasy in the main mix and the uplifting joy in the piano scene to the sublime floating and jamming in the closing act – he convinces in every role. Great deep house theatre!
Quotes:Christian Prommer Can't Do wrong !!! Nice Packet Of mixes
Dj Nova (Rodon Fm 95)Woohaaa! Very nice indeed!
All mixes are essential but the main mix is doing it on the deep electronic
tip. Definitely get plenty of action out of this one.
Jamie Odell (Freerange Records)

Funk d’void

Ashley Beedle
Are you kidding me? part 2 is just MAD! i love the beatz and the bass and most off all the pianochord, but also part 3 is of the hissay with its OLD SCHOOL feel.

True house solider.
Nitzan (Fine Art)
wowowow... what a great tune! Totally my sound right now..
old school detroit deep groove for the original, and this piano version is so DOPE!!!!! old school jazz piano lines... the recording sound of the piano is actually really cool! cant tell if its an old sample or if its played out...great release, we going back to the basics but with the sound of today... perfect :-)
Reynold (Trenton Records)
Astounding set of pure dance floor remixes from Prommer who seems to be able
to do no wrong solo. It's hard to choose from such good mixes - both the Piano mix (can you say "house music all night long?") and the more techy "Jam mix" will be in rotation for different parts of the night. Will be charting in August chart. To my mind the best release on Black Label to date. Max Respect
